Links I Love

Here are some links that I find really useful, or love reading their pages.

Karen Main Online – awesome blog about finding the Ordinary Fabulous in our every day lives. Karen puts a positive spin on just about everything we encounter in our daily lives and has a beautiful knack for making us see things that little bit differently. Not only does Karen write an amazing blog, but she has a fabulous talent for turning your treasured photos into incredible slideshows.

Pazzles Craft Room – a wonderful place filled with crafty goodness. From Klo’s classroom, to downloading gorgeous files to work with, and being part of the forums and user albums there’s so much to do in here!

A Macaron Affair – who doesn’t love a sweet treat?! Lisa makes gorgeous macarons in so many different flavours. Highly recommended – Redskin & Hot Cross Bun flavours – delicious….

Miss Kate Cuttables – lovely svg files available here for those with electronic cutting machines. Miss Kate Cuttables are now working alongside Pazzles and are releasing images regularly in the Craft Room. Her files are VERY cute!

Kaisercraft – Probably my most favourite supplier of papercraft supplies. They release new collections each month and everything co-ordinates. I have so many Kaisercraft products in my craft room 🙂 I love that they are an Aussie company and making great product.

Small Business Big Marketing – The world of marketing has changed and Timbo Reid’s podcast is fabulous. I love listening to his humour filled interviews with successful small business owners and learning so much that I can apply to our family business. Pass this link onto all your small business owners friends.

TED Talks – Technology, Education, Design. TED talks are addictive! So many topics from AMAZING speakers around the world on so many different topics. Satisfy your curiosity and listen in on some of these incredible talks where you will learn incredible things. Tune into the TED Radio Hour, if you’re on the go a lot and can’t watch the videos.

American Doughnut Kitchen – a shameless plug for our family business that is now in it’s 64th year of trading at the historic Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne, Australia. We are known for having the best doughnuts in town and are regularly approached by various media outlets to feature in their shows, print or otherwise. My grandfather was one of the founders, and after he passed in 1996, my mum took over his role. I joined the company in 2006 and my role now encompasses Business Development, Marketing Strategy & Admin.

Addicted to Craft – these guys are the only authorised seller for Pazzles products in Australia, and are always great when I place orders with them. Service is terrific and their range is extensive. Check them out if you live in Australia.

Pack It In – these guys sell such a huge range of cello bags and other packaging products critical for presenting your handmade products to your customers. Their service is second to none, they answer questions quickly and their turnaround time is fabulous. I use their cello bags for all my handmade cards and their C6 boxes as well. I have other friends who also use their products and love them.

Pinterest – OMG, what can I say? I LOVE this site a little too much I think. I adore how I can find so many amazing products and ideas without having to buy magazines and have them pile up. I’ve always collected magazine clippings for decorating ideas and craft projects and now I have it at my fingertips in digital form. Many a project has been inspired by something I’ve seen on Pinterest.
